Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) supports STEM efforts for grades 6-8 by engaging students in hands-on STEM activities and providing a national network comprised of engineering college students and professionals.
Middle schools have the opportunity to participate in Noche de Ciencias which is a 2-4 hour event that includes hands-on STEM activities and resources for parents to encourage their child to pursue STEM careers and higher education.
SHPE Jr. Chapters serve as student clubs that provide consistent engagement in STEM topics and reinforce connections with other SHPE chapters through mentorship.
